	AAAALIMA produces and exports Peruvian handicraft within the field of giftware, home decoration as well as that of clothing, with a high standard of quality recognized by all our customers since 1978. Our designs are mainly based on traditional folklore art but also on contemporary art adapting ourselves to the suggestions of our customers from North America, Europe and Australia. About AAAALima, the 4 "A" stand for the Spanish abbreviation of "Artesanías Andinas" (Handicrafts of the Andes). In our language, the plural of a word is abbreviated by duplication of its first letter. We condensed "AA.AA.Lima" into "AAAALima", simbolizing the "L" by a resting Lama, the age old cargo animal of the Andean population, and first cousin of the Alpaca, Guanaco and Vicuña. 	MISSION Our mission is to broaden the opportunities of social and commercial development of the craft communities situated mainly on the Peruvian coast and in the Peruvian mountains. Most of our handicraftmen do not have the necessary resources to develop a wholesale production reaching the level of exportation, so our technical and financial support is very important for them so that they can get the opportunity of exhibiting their products worldwide through our company. Thus, each one of our handicraftmen becomes a partner of AAALima who respects their culture and suggestions coordinating each detail in the production and above all, doing our best to give them a fair price for their products. In this way, our customers also carry out a very important social task. Many of those who have visited Peru and have personally got to know the reality of our country, are aware of the fact that thanks to their business abroad, many low income handicraftmen are now enjoying a better quality of life.


	PRODUCTION, QUALITY CONTROL AND PACKING We have got more than 300 suppliers all over Peru, qualified to satisfy retail and wholesale traders demands. Many of the ancient techniques are still valid but the constant search for better designs and quality leads us to discover new techniques that guarantee full satisfaction to each one of our customers. Hence, the guidelines we get from abroad are essential in reaching a perfect development of our products. Quality control is a very important issue for AAALima. We are conscious of the fact that although the handicraft may not always be perfect- like all handmade art -, the quality control should be very strict to obtain our customers total satisfaction. If there were any claims because of quality, we would immediately coordinate to exchange that product. Our packing is very carefully done by a well-trained and experienced staff of workers. The individual packing into boxes, and details such as hang tags, bar codes etc., can be coordinated with each customer according to their needs. .


	ORDERS, EXPORTATION AND PAYMENT We have established that our customers can make an initial sample order at a minimum cost of US$1,500 FOB, which covers our general expenditures. However, for future orders the minimum cost will be US$3,000. Regarding the wholesale orders the prices can be adjusted. We have customs agents with great experience in exportation by air as well as by sea and we follow up the cargo until the shipment arrives at its destination having our customers well informed all the time. You can pay us by a Letter of Credit at Sight or by canceling the merchandise sending us the Air Waybill by fax.
